Refund & Cancellation Policy
MUSEA is designed so both sides know what happens to money when a booking is cancelled.
If no payment has been made
The booking is cancelled and the slot is released. There is nothing to refund.
Refund destination
Where supported by the payment provider, refunds are returned to the original payment method. MUSEA does not force wallet credit instead of a monetary refund.
After cancellation
Once a booking is cancelled, MUSEA blocks new payment attempts against that booking.
Payment during a cancellation race
If a payment is verified after the booking has already been cancelled, MUSEA records it for reconciliation and flags the appropriate refund rather than treating the booking as secured.
No hidden deductions
For a client cancellation, the stated 10% is the cancellation/processing deduction. MUSEA will not add an undisclosed extra cancellation deduction on top.
Full refund of all amounts paid.
90% refunded; 10% retained as cancellation/processing fee.
