These Terms govern your use of MUSEA.
The MUSEA marketplace
MUSEA provides technology that allows clients to discover and book independent makeup artists and allows makeup artists to manage their businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the makeup service itself is provided by the booked artist, not by MUSEA.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure.
Bookings and deposits
A booking request may be created before payment. Where a deposit is required, the appointment is commercially secured only after MUSEA verifies the required deposit. A cancelled booking cannot accept a new payment.
Payments and balances
MUSEA may collect deposits and remaining balances through an approved payment provider. Payment is completed only after provider verification.
Cancellation and refunds
If the makeup artist cancels, the client is entitled to a 100% refund of amounts paid for that booking. If the client cancels, the client is entitled to a 90% refund and 10% is retained as the cancellation and processing charge.
AI previews
AI previews, palettes and artist execution briefs are references intended to communicate a desired look and are not guarantees of an identical final result.
Artist responsibilities
Artists are responsible for profile accuracy, services, availability, pricing, qualifications, service delivery, professionalism and compliance with applicable health and safety obligations.
Client responsibilities
Clients should provide accurate booking information, be available at the agreed time and behave respectfully toward artists.
Reviews and transformations
Reviews should reflect genuine MUSEA bookings. Before/after transformations are public only with the required consent.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse MUSEA, attempt unauthorized access, engage in fraud, harass users, upload unlawful content or interfere with platform security.
Suspension and termination
MUSEA may restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, enforce these Terms or comply with law.
Governing framework
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply.
